Matthew Walker

Matthew Walker is a British-American neuroscientist, professor at the University of California, Berkeley, and founder and director of the Center for Human Sleep Science. He received his doctorate in neurophysiology from the Medical Research Council (London, UK). His love-affair with sleep has spanned a 20-plus-year research career and includes the publication of over 100 scientific research studies. Walker has also served as a sleep consultant for several large companies and sports organizations, including Google, Fitbit, NBA, NFL, British Premier League football teams, and Pixar Animation.
